lincolncentguy,

We have found plenty of good stuff: buffalos, silvers, libertys. The only ones we have not found of the Jeffersons are the 1950d and the 1943D. We don't want to buy one. The thrill is in the hunt!

Another great box tonight.

My son found: 1949s, 1943P.

I found 1944P, and 1930p and 1936p Buffalos.

$60 of nickels today. No pre-60 whatsoever, and the only remotely interesting find was a circulated 1961 proof.

Where in Texas do you live? I'm in Fort Worth
and the finds here have dropped off dramatically for me this month.

Very discouraging; roll after roll, and I find a half-decent '47D in the supermarket Coinstar reject slot, of all places!

I'm in the northeastern suburbs of Dallas, so my CRHing is mostly confined to Wylie, Garland and Rockwall.

I can't say much about the nickel situation over here as today was only my second time searching nickels in the past several weeks, though I did have a few huge nickel scores earlier this year. I've temporarily scaled down my CRHing to just buying up all the loose half dollars at every bank I pass by, which has actually yielded a few hundred dollars worth of silver so far.

I just finished a bag of nickels. Probably the strangest bag that I have been through. I found a 1895 Liberty V nickel, 1937 Buffalo nickel and 13 keeper pre 1960 Jefferson nickels including two silver nickels. One of pre 1960 was a 1950 D! This is the second 1950 D within the last year.

Box # 20

1938

I know this is a small sample size but in my first 20 boxes I have found:

30 War Nickels
4 Buffalo's
2 V nickels
2 1939 D's
1 1950 D

I can only hope for the same amount of good luck in the next 20 boxes. :)
