Congratulations on that 1938d!

I did a box tonight by myself. The only keeper was a strange looking foreign coin. It has no date, and neither my son or I could tell what country it is from. It has a big 7 on one side with writing above and below it. It has no date. The other side has a temple in the middle with reeds or some other plant leaves under it and on both sides of it kind of like the back of an Indian Head cent does.

Found this a while back while searching $200 in nickels. It looks like it spent a good deal of time in the ground. Oldest nickel I have found and the second V nickel. The other was a 1912D.

I've had great luck with buffaloes lately - the last 3 Loomis boxes had 5, 4 and 4 for a total of 13 - all with various dates. I noticed the number stamped on the box was different than the usual number. There must've been a batch of Buffaloes dumped recently. Oddly, there were no wars in the boxes, since I typically get one per box. Next weekend, I'm going hit as many banks as I can and see how many boxes I can get with this number. My goal is 20 boxes. Gotta strike while its hot! Happy Searching!
