$200 in bag from coin counter and 50$ in wrapped rolls yielded 1908 Liberty nickel (2nd ever), 2 43P War Nickels and the usual amount of pre-60 nickels. |

searched 20 rolls and only got one filler a 1957, it was for sure a bad day for roll searching

got a box today,opened it and one roll stood out(there brinks clear plastic) it had this dark coin.  It's au/bu,5 grams,dosen't look to be plated, is this what they call a black beauty? Thanks for any help LP.  |

I cant tell from your picture what year it is but I found one that looks almost like yours ,mines a 73D .

2 boxes: 1- 1942-P War Nickel3- 2009-D Jeffersons 51- Pre-1960 Jeffersons 1- 1876 10 pfennig (German, I think)   I wish the 10 pfennig coin wasn't in such bad shape.. it has a pretty awesome design. |

This box had almost double the amount of pre 1960's than I normally get.

Out of $30 in CWR's, I got 5 2009 D's 1 Canadian 4 S mints (1970x2, 1969, and 1968) 6 pre 1960 (1946, 1951, 1959 D, 1947, 1941, and 1958 D) Not the best, but I'll take it. Last time I did nickels I didn't get a single pre 1959.    |

Went to my usual dump branch to use the ATM today and was surprised to see they were still open. Decided I'd buy $100 worth of two dollar bills to look for star notes. They didn't have any and since I'm pretty sure that teller did not know me, I asked for a $100 box of nickels which they did have.
Got a nice 1948S that filled a slot on a book I'm filling and a 1944P along with the usual assortment of 39-59's. I also found a couple of 2012D's which are the first of those I've seen roll hunting.
Once again, zero 2009's.
Hopefully when I dump on Monday no one will recall me getting the box today.

so far this year I am at 44 silver nickels and 28 buffalos 22 dateless about 40 canadians and 7 from other countries.29 boxes this year so far. later greg
