I don't know! I'll have to bust out my new digital microscope!
I'll post pics. Never really heard of the half leg, or at least forgot about it. Only remember the three leg.

1 box of nickels (actually the remaining half of one box and half of a new box) Last roll of first half had a silver. Second roll of the new box had a silver.

Ok, so I came back to nickels after some rather unfortunate runs with dimes, and decided to do $40 in rolls on a whim. It turned out to be probably the best batch of nickels I've ever searched. Keepers: 1938 x1 1938-D x1 Just 7 Jeffersons left to find. 1947-S x1 1954-S x1 1965 SMS x1 1967 SMS x1

1 box of nickels today. Some pre 1960 and S mints, 2 Canadians, a nice 1940, a 1928 Buffalo, a marked nickel, and a 2009. Seriously, who marks nickels?

A strange find in last night's box: my son found a 1955 nickel that looked like someone had crudely removed the "d" mint mark on the reverse. We had never seen anything like that before. The mint mark was totally and obviously obliterated.
