I hope they do. I occasionally get CRH support from my son, but xbox is a powerful distraction.
Almost done with a box of cents...will post there later tonight.

Tonight's box yielded a 1943P and a 1963p proof. We don't normally save proofs, but I thought I'd show this one to my son whose coming home this weekend.

socceraustin,
We used to keep proofs, but we got so many, and many that were not in great shape, so we quit keeping them. I am keeping the 1963 proof. It is the oldest one we've ever found and in great condition.
My son and I will not be doing a box together this weekend. My wife and I are going to our college alma mater where we met for a football game on Saturday while my son is staying home to do his homework. Hopefully we can do a box together over Thanksgiving break.

I just made a collector really happy.
I just deposited $74 of pre 1959 nickels into the bank because I am moving to a small apartment.
Some of the dates are really good like 40-s.
I wonder if anyone here will find them.

Thursday's box was a skunk, but tonight's box was great:
1848s, 1944P, 1945P, 1928p buffalo, and 1962 Canadian.
1962 was the last year that Canadian nickels were minted with the not perfectly round circumference.

My reply above was meant to say 1948s, not 1848s!

Broke out of my skunk. Found a 1943 - P. I need my next box to have at least 2 more.
