Exactly, jbuck! The good mojo just keeps flowing with those MWR from my main branch. Today I found 19 pre-60s in 2040 nickels including WarNick #32... As per my normal, the CWRs lagged far behind... my breakdown today: _____ Rl P60 MWR 39 17 CWR 12 2

I found 4 keepers in one MWR today: 39s, 44s, 57d, and impaired proof 79s. The 44s completes my silver set series, and I just need the 50, 50d, and 38s to complete the Jefferson set from circulation.

Nice group, aristarchus123 and congrats on finishing your silver set! I have 9 of 11 of the silvers - missing the 43-D, and surprisingly the 45-P. The only others I am missing are the 38-S, 39-D, 50-D, and 55 Philly...

Quote: Nice group, aristarchus123 and congrats on finishing your silver set! Thanks! The last silvers were really hard to get, it seems, as when the silvers come up, they are the wrong years or mint marks. But, one can never be too upset at finding silver. Quote: I have 9 of 11 of the silvers - missing the 43-D, and surprisingly the 45-P. The only others I am missing are the 38-S, 39-D, 50-D, and 55 Philly.. That is a great progress on a complete set. Congratulations. Do post a photo when the Jefferson set is complete. I've done 55 boxes so far. I bet I'll need at least that to finish the set, and maybe much more depending on that 50-D!

Thanks, aristarchus123! Yes, silver (and Buffalos) always make me happy. I know I'll run into that 45-P sooner or later... that 43-D though is going to be tough! I'll definitely post a pic if I complete my set... for 5 months of work, I'm doing pretty well, I think!
I've gone through around 33 boxes worth of nickels so far. I usually like to get 25 rolls at a time at my banks instead of full boxes.
I've had some very interesting stretches... still mystified as to how I found 3 39-S's in 11 days... that was just weird, but in a very good way!
Jbuck, it appears my little good run has ended... and now there is a forest fire not too far away making it difficult to get out and about today. I have difficulty breathing smoky air.

Our first box with three Buffalo nickels! These were paper machine-wrapped rolls: 1936-P, two dateless, but one of them from 1913 given the Type-1 raised mound.

Hi all, Went through 10 rolls of nickels on Saturday. Found a 1939P, and a few misc 40's and 50's. Also found our 2nd dateless Buffalo nickel. Really cool to find. Hopefully we'll find a dated one soon!
