Today I found 19 pre-60s in 2040 nickels including WarNick #32... I have 9 of 11 of the silvers - missing the 43-D, and surprisingly the 45-P. The only others I am missing are the 38-S, 39-D, 50-D, and 55 Philly... The last silvers were really hard to get, it seems, as when the silvers come up, they are the wrong years or mint marks. But, one can never be too upset at finding silver. I know I'll run into that 45-P sooner or later... that 43-D though is going to be tough! I'll definitely post a pic if I complete my set... for 5 months of work, I'm doing pretty well, I think! I've gone through around 33 boxes worth of nickels so far. I usually like to get 25 rolls at a time at my banks instead of full boxes. I've had some very interesting stretches... still mystified as to how I found 3 39-S's in 11 days... that was just weird, but in a very good way! Jbuck, it appears my little good run has ended... and now there is a forest fire not too far away making it difficult to get out and about today. I have difficulty breathing smoky air.
