Congrats on the Buff, dadsoncoinhobby. If you keep looking a dated one is bound to show up!
I guess I've been lucky so far... of the 11 Buffalos I've found these past 5 months, only 1 has been dateless.

1/2 box from one bank, 6 pre-60s... 1/2 box from another bank, 10 pre-60s.
Right on my average of 16 total, but nothing special. A Philly 39 and 42 were the best coins. After my recent run of silver and Buffalos, I have come back down to Earth.

Just did 3 more boxes. Box #1: nothing exciting at all. Box #2: Three impaired proofs in the middle of the box: Box #3: 45-P and 25-D Buff. I can't tell whether the brown fields in the Buff are paint or rust. I thought for sure it would be dateless, and then I turned it over to see the 25:

Stopped at the bank today and ask for nickels and dime rolls she said she just put up a bag for loomis to pickup this afternoon but if I wanted it I could have it, I have never been offered a bag before, so after a quick minute to think about it I said I would take it. So she went into the back and came out with the bag of nickels on her dolly and was nice enough to wheel it to my car, I would have had no problem picking it up but she insisted so I let her, also she gave me $250 in customer wrapped rolls of dimes. I can't wait to break into this later tonight. I will post results later of what I find.

aristarchus123, nice on the 25-D Buffalo... that coin may actually be fire damaged. As for me, well I found a pair of coins of the same date and mintmark... but check them out closely!

Struck out twice this week at the bank. Picked up a box of nickels at two different banks. Both boxes were from Loomis and contained nothing but brand new 2016-D nickels. Thought about selling the rolls on ebay but not sure it's worth the trouble.

tnt, probably not worth the trouble.
You may want to search them for errors. Not my thing, but others have found nice errors in them.
This is one of the main reasons I rarely get full boxes of nickels.... usually I get 1/2 a box at a time. The BofA in my area has been getting nothing but brand new cents and nickels for 3 months!

John77 -- thanks for the feedback. Usually around the summer months is when I start seeing boxes of new nickels starting to show up. Happened to me last year around this time when I picked up a box of brand new 2015-D nickels. Searching for errors is not my thing as well so I think this box is going back to the bank. It will at least save them the cost of ordering a new box. I had luck in the past with customer wrapped rolls so I might start asking for them.

Thanks, tnt.
Customer wrapped rolls are always hit or miss, it seems... I found the above 41-S Large S yesterday in one of my 7 CWRs along with 4 other pre-60s - much better than my usual luck with them... Other times out of 7 CWRs, I'll not find a thing worth saving other than the occasional high grade 1982 or 1983 dated coins. And I never seem to find 2009 dated coins in the CWRs.

Decided to go back to the bank and get $24 in nickels along with a box of pennies, haven't opened the box but the nickels were great. Got a '43-P War Nickel, a Swiss 20 rappen (1992) and last but not least, a 1936 full date buffalo!

Wow! I'd like to get a bag like that. Impressive that it was the correct amount for $200 of nickels.
