Nice finds, CrazyCat and CoinRumbles!

And CoinRumbles, 62 pre-60's out of 100 rolls is a very high rate of finds from what I've seen. I had one batch of 25 rolls recently which produced 18 of them.

bookshelf, I'd love to see a pic of that double-clipped coin.

$220 worth of nickels (110 rolls) the past couple of days has produced 40 pre-60 coins. The only real notable was a 1942-D.

$46 in nickels got me no keepers. Oldest was a 1957-D which I threw back because it's such a high mintage. I'm more focused on completing my whitman folder than on hoarding old Jeffersons.

I completely understand. I'm sorting through the hoard now to glean out the best to complete a roll for each date/mm. It's taking longer than expected.

CrazyCat, I can totally understand throwing back the 57-D... The really common dates like the 1940 and 1941 Philadelphia coins and the 1956 and later Denver coins are still very easy to find. All I do now is just put them in rolls and in my big box!

Some coins though are quite challenging to get a roll of. I finally accumulated enough 1942 nickels (the normal ones) to complete a roll this month.

I did half a box tonight that surprisingly was filled with customer-wrapped rolls. 2 finds!

#1: 1950-P. I was really nervous about turning this one over. Ok, no D, but still, it was one I needed. Now I just need 2 more to complete the set from circulation (1938-S; 1950-D).

#2: This is what I like to see when I open rolls! Something is hiding here! Turned out to be a nice 37-D.

Did a box of nickels tonight and I found a decent amount of toned rainbow coins. I have come across them before but most are ugly and I'm not really into toned colored coins, until tonight. Some of these are real pretty and are deeply toned rainbow colors of all colors. I never ran into anything like this before. Not sure if I will keep them or not but I am going to put them aside and think about it. The picture really doesn't do justice. Also in this box was 2-2009p and D. Best of all 1936 buffalo

I got my nickel swagger back yesterday... A dateless Buffalo and a 1937-D... For the month of July, I ended up pulling 12 War Nickels and 8 Buffalos!

John77, out of curiosity, how many rolls searched in July to get those results?
