Searched 3280 coins yesterday, and found 21 pre-60s including a really nice 1937-S Buffalo, and 1945-P. Only three 2009-Ds were in the batch. Strangely, two of the really good finds were coins dated 1990-D. A nice little clip, and my first NO FS nickel of the year.

Got a box after work. I hit a trifecta (proof, buffalo, silver). 1928 Buffalo (needs acetone) 1936 Buffalo (nice detail) 1943 S x2 1943 P 2004 S (very scratched) and 54 pre 1960 (mostly from the 40s, no key dates, not pictured)

Great box, mail187man! 54 pre-60s with 3 silvers a proof and 2 Buffalos is very unusual!
Nice finds, shotgung... looks like your Buffalo may be a 1920 as I can see the upper loop of what looks to be a zero. A day or so in vinegar would probably reveal it.

I found a very unusual coin in a box of nickels last night. It was a 1940 German coin with a swastika on it. It was a denomination of 10 of whatever their currency was at the time. It is nickel sized.

Wow, shotgung! Very unusual to find two of the same date Buffalo in a box, especially a 1923! Personally, I had a very busy week... finally organizing my finds: 2/5/18 - 3960 searched, 34 pre-60s including 2 1951-S, a 1944-P, and a 1958, along with 6 2009-Ds. 2/7/18 - 4000 searched, 28 pre-60s including a 1943-S. Also found a nice clip on a 2005-D Buffalo, though someone decided to mangle the reverse a little. Only found 3 2009-Ds. Brinks box again was subpar, only yielding 11 pre-60s. Lately, this has been the average, so I've been getting more CWR and String&Son coins in an effort to counteract... 2/8/18 - 5760 searched, 47 pre-60s including a 1937 Buffalo, a dateless D-mint Buffalo (pickling), a 1938, a 1943-S (not pictured), and a 1945-D. Also found my first 2009-P of the month, along with 13 pre-60s 2/9/18 - 1920 searched, 35 pre-60s including an 1897 V nickel , 2 1944-Ps, along with 3 2009-Ds. One of the rolls was saved for me by a friend at one of the branches who told me it was all 40s through 60s. It had 18 pre-60s including one of the 44-Ps!
