Awesome finds Here's a pic of finds from a box I just finished: It's been awhile since I've found 5 wars in one box, have another box to open that will hopefully produce at least another war.

Well, unlike you lucky fellows from the posts above, I'm not finding any rolls of Buffalo nickels or any silver coins, but I did find 3 non-USA coins in the last box and one Buffalo nickel: 1934-P nickel 1969 20 Swiss Francs 1969 10 Pfennig 1987 20 Cents Singapore I believe the last one is the first coin from Singapore that I have found in a Jefferson roll.

Silver Eagle, five War Nickels are the most I've ever found in a box... very nice! And congrats, aristarchus on the Buffalo!

Curiousity got the better of me last night and I decided to go through my other box of nickels - 5 more War Nickels and another buffalo! 10 wars out of the last two boxes - all P mint Mark and a buffalo in each too! Must be part of a dump, all machine wrapped... I may have to call my bank and see if they can get me 5-10 boxes for next week.

Wow... 10 War Nickels in two boxes... and those ones all look only moderately worn... I'd go to that bank and get some more!

John - I just picked up two boxes of halves from another bank and asked the teller if he could spare a box of nickels. He tells me he overordered and it would doing him a favor, so I end up taking 3 boxes off his hands. 5 rolls into the first and I find a 1911 V. I'm on fire lately with V nickels, 5 in the last 16 boxes. I'll post results later.

And Pancake, congrats on your 1911 V as well! As for me, in between pickling dateless Buffalo nickels, and fantasy baseball drafts, I managed to score some nice Philly coins and a minor MAD error... Shockingly, I found another 1955 Philly nickel , along with a 1938, and a 1958. Also, a 1942-S (not pictured).
