WOW! 4 V nickels in a box? That's awesome, JonNickelCollector! I'd go back to that branch, or if there's a stamp on the box, try to get other boxes with that stamp.

I got a box of nickels from my bank. I found: 2 Buffalo nickels (one was dateless and one was a 1935), some pre-1960 nickels, and 2 2009 nickels. I am very happy with that box.

Last Wednesday I bought $402 worth of nickels (8040 coins)... found 63 pre-60s including a 1942-D, 1943-S (2), 1944-P, 1944-D, and 1944-S. There was also a single 2009-P, and 8 2009-Ds. A strange anomaly happened with this batch - the most found pre-1960 coin wasn't one of the 7 super common ones (40, 41, 46, 54-D, 57-D, 58-D, 59-D) - it was the 1952-S, of which there were 8!
