Kind of regretted selling one of these a few months back so I found another to replace it. Pics are not great but I kind of liked the toning on this one. Looks like its in a older holder so not sure if grading was stricter than. Ok deal for $100 I think http://www.ebay.com/itm/39128855724...RK:MEBIDX:IT

Yeah, the toning, if it's still there in hand, puts it in the keeper category, otherwise the price was about average according to the 50 past sales on ebay. Nice coin and holder.

Brings back memories......back in the day I was working in Atlanta, and a buddy of mine and I were playing golf on a course near the base of Stone Mountain. I still have a pic of him hitting out of a sand trap, with sand flying in the foreground, with Stone Mountain in the background.

Very difficult to judge the coin from those photographs.

Good for you that you found an agreeable replacement of this always popular classic commemorative.

Very nice addition to your collection - I hope by now you've received your coin and are happy with it!

Maybe some better images will help us all appreciate it a bit more?

yes I did receive the coin and I am happy with it. My picture taking of coins needs work. Especially when they are slabbed.

Very hard to tell how the coin looks from the Scan David Lawrence gave you.

If you're happy with it, that's all that matters.

There were millions sold of the Stone Mountain Half Dollar. It pays to be patient when buying these.

Enjoy
