Hi folks - filling out a nickel folder and ran into a snag. I found this during a CRH event: 1953 Near SF I believe. But I'm unclear about whether this is chrome or missing chrome. It has a silver paint like appearance in hand. Not sure if it translates well here with these pic's. Any help is appreciated!

SF near leaf.
It is chromed steel, the "silver paintlike appearance" tells us so, unchromed coins have the look of nickel nickels. It is well worn, and rusting from the inside out.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

Thank you DBM. I was leaning that way but lacked any familiarity with the nickel version. It'll go in the folder tonight.
