Could always go to the shop from Pawn Stars lol. Will be overpriced but you will definitely see "wow factor".

About eight years ago, I trolled through the various Las Vegas coin shops. Las Vegas has an international identity, and the City is very used to tourists who have lots of money to spend.
I have owned Roman gold coins on and off for nearly 40 years, so I had some experience and a bit of an idea of their pricing on the International market.
When I visited the coin shops, asking to see Roman coins, I wasn't able to hide my Australian accent in any way, and so I was made most welcome. Immediate problems arose when I asked about Roman gold coins, and the prices asked for were way above what I was used to on the international market.
They must have seen me coming, so to speak.
I didn't buy a single numismatic item. That is a pity.

There really are none. We attend all the Las Vegas 3 day shows and even there only a few show from Vegas. The shops that are there are deadly serious about collecting the State Sales Tax. The best selection is Sahara Coins ( a short Bus Ride off of the Strip) but there are no deals and they DO NOT wholesale. Go when the three day shows are on ........about a 150 dealers.

I was just there last month and didn't see much coin related. To be honest you probably won't even think about coins once you get there. There is just so much to see and do it becomes a bit overwhelming. If you do find some coins you like be prepared to pay for it.

Thanks everyone for your great feedback. Probably won't make a point to search a coin shop out, but if I walk by one, you know.

I visited the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop from Pawn Stars when I was there and there were some coins but nothing that really had the "wow" factor. If I recall correctly the most expensive ones they had out at the time were just regular gold issues in classic and modern bullion. Overpriced too, but tis to be expected at a pawn shop. I ended up buying a commemorative "Casino Token" which was a bimetallic silver and gold-nickel that had gold and silver pawn shop logo on it. They had some chumlee and the old man one ounce rounds too but they wanted like fifty bucks apeice for them and I just couldn't do that.
