That used to be true, I'm not sure if that is still the case anymore. It had the problem that it could be used by a scammer, receive your genuine coin, claim it was a counterfeit and get his money back (with ebay pulling it from your account) plus be allowed to keep your coin.

Thanks for all the good advice. Seller never ended up accepting the 20 bucks through PayPal, so case closed. Lesson learned!!

Can I ask why you have 50k+ worth of high test cc dollars but you're going after this thinking it may be real?

I never realized how many counterfeit coins was on ebay until this forum opened my eyes. Can't wait till I'm knowledgeable enough to distinguish fakes
