I'd venture that this was a shoddy attempt to erase graffiti. The coin looks genuine to me.

I'd agree with someones very poor attempt to "erase" graffiti.

Looks fully original other than that.

Not interested in this piece but what value would you guys place on this coin? I'd think $30 at most.

Is it just me or does the neck/eagle area seem to be unusually large on this coin? Seems stretched.

Yeah I think you're right. I'd say probably $30...I might get it for myself actually, but I've already (way) overspent my coin budget for the year :p

It is a GR-11 with a Rarity: R-5 A scarce variety to find in any condition above XF.

I could live with the OBV. but not that REV.(mainly the left wing).

Coin 100% genuine, field repaired. I forgot to look at the obverse to see if it was plugged so I won't bother.
