Take a look at the bottom of the torch. Looks like a die crack branching off to the right of the torch and then a possible Cud sitting on the torch.

Then I found a second coin that has a smaller one in the same spot. Maybe in the beginning phases of developing?

Crack and a chip maybe? I see similar on the LSCs reverse on the upper left shield.

Best to wait for the experts though.

Die chip. If you take a sample of 100 modern dimes, say 2004+, I bet you'd find at least 5 with a die chip in this location.

I posted a picture of a 1999P dime last week with a die chip in the same place on the reverse. The front of mine also had a die crack running down Roosevelt's eyebrow on the obverse.
