joey - your photos are difficult to make out.

In my judgment this is the 'normal' WAM reverse. make note of the spacing of the A in STATES. By your photos it appears to be equally centered between the two adjacent letter T ... which is 100% diagnostic for a WAM reverse.

Please take a closer. I understand about the "A" rule and am sure it's correct here. I took lots of time the past few days before [posting. Looking at that and "FG" making as sure as I could that they were correct . I've posted new pics and the 3rd & 4th should show best.

I do see the first Rev pic shown in first post does not show the best. But does show the leaning etc.. And all other details look right. "A" & "M" couldn't get any closer.

But, I am sure other pics should show what is needed.

I tried to knock down glare on this and brighten.

I looked carefully and am confident as I can that it's not in middle. Compared @ Resources, PCGS and all places I could. find and seemed to check out.
See below steps and the "FG"?

Joey- The glare is really hiding what we need to see, but the last photo in your second post clearly shows the separation between the AM

Also the FG is way to close to the memorial to be a Close AM.

Definite WAM

I will take another pic and try to get better detail. All respect. The "A" is allowed to not touch completely in all cases. Though 9 out of 10 pics I took Showed touching.

And a question for CooP. You hinted to me that the "M" moves to the "A". So, "FG" it also has to make a move. Or it's actually kinda gets pushed out? Correct? I'm right on this aren't I?
I'll also point out the important areas if I can get better pics posted. nAnd try yo show what I see.

Thanks.

Hi Joey,

Looks like a normal cent ( WAM). Better pictures might help with the evaluation, but STATES looks normally spaced and although the glare is significant around the AME in AMERICA, it also looks properly spaced.

Keep looking...there are many varieties to be had. Good luck!

There are some WAM's where you can see the A and M are very close together but you need to closely evaluate the other diagnostics...the A in STATES is perfectly centered between the two T's on this coin and the designers initials are in the proper location for a WAM
