Any thoughts of what kind of doubling is on this 1969S?

I see nothing. It's not the doubled die.

Thank you Ken. I knew right away it wasn't the same as the doubled die
1969 s I've seen when looking them up but the 6 and the B in Liberty got me
wondering. When I first looked at it I thought maybe die deteration? But after
seeing the 6 and the B I wanted to double check. Thank you..

Looks like it is coin contact on your coin. If it were a doubled die, the devices would be showing raised areas on the devices. They are indents from contact. There is another a 1969S-1DO-003 but again note the hub doubling on the die is raised:

Hey Coop. That image you have above, how would one tell that kind of doubling from Machine Doubling. I see many coins similar to that, but they are Machine Doubling. Thanks!

Thank-you coop, I'm a little confused though. You mentioned the raised areas. Wouldn't the 6 in the date be raised? It also looked like the B in liberty looked raised under the B. The R in trust and the S in pluribus. Or is it just indentsnfrom contact that's making a doubled image type of thing?

Note the arrow areas. That area is raise on the coin. In order for it to be raised on the coin, the die would have to be incuse on those areas. Hub doubling is the cause of the doubling in those areas. On a normal machine damaged coin, the devices are normal size, but then reduced from the MD during the strike. The coin above is raised and not reduced because it is hub doubling. (note how the devices change color because they are raised? MD leaves them all the same color where it is reduced)
