I believe God has Blessed me with a beautiful coin.

Here are images of the word TRUST. The picture of the top of the R makes me wonder if it may be quadruple doubled.

Hey,
All the pictures strike me more as a really badly deteriorated die. I dont really see any true doubling on any of the pictures. The U of trust looks like it may be doubled, but when I see the other photos, I'm not so convinced. May be some strike shift going on.

What does strike shift refer to? I believe the coin is doubled. In the wide shot of TRUST there is notching on R U and S. On UNUM there is notching on the first U and N.

Hi MS. Looks like MD and deterioration. The die was over used and got very sloppy. VLDS with die movement at the end of the strike I suppose. Good luck on the hunt.

Oh? I read that Machine Doubling cannot create notches though. Would Die Deterioration create the notches?

The only place I see possible notching is the upright of the D and I am not sure about that...where do yo see notching?

I see it on the bottom right of the R in TRUST. The left top of the U in TRUST, and the U and N in UNITED.
