'50s cents are fun! IIB and BIE die chips (I haven't checked cudsoncoins), looks like another chip in the R and cracks on the shoulder. And die chips on the reverse too. Love that cent.

Yes they are. Have three rolls of 58 BU's that I haven't searched yet. Supposedly out of a bank box and not tampered with...we'll see. Thank you for the reply.

Between IB I think is damage. It is a BIE though.Die chip on R of LIBERTY.Die chip on left stalk and die crack/chip on C of CENT. The area on the bust is most interesting to me,will wait for a pro to chime in on that. John1

The area on the jacket is called a retained interior die break. It means exactly what it says. This die was breaking apart. a few more strikes and it would be done. Here is one I found in the head area a couple of years ago.

Your coin is a "IIBIE" II-F-Multiple. Unlisted on Cuds-on-Coins.
Cohen Index IIBIE 56-B77 (Stage 2 of 2 ) Hardy Index 56P-3F-4EH-1.
It is also a unlisted IDB "Interior Die Break" and possibly a RIDB "Retained Interior Die Break".
With your permission we would like to add this to our listings on COC.

Gotta love the multiple error coins, especially when found in the wild.
