The Melbourne Mint threepences in the War years are weakly struck on the obverse.

The '42 threepence is the worst of them all. Even with uncirculated examples, the King's hair definition is poor.
The must have had a very worn master die, from which to hub from.

VF (Australian) grading for this one.
