Yes it's a fake, as well as the 1910 they have, in my opinion.

The reverse is very cartoonish. While that could be caused by an extremely overpolished die, it looks like a fake.

I think that it is a fake as well, but nevertheless, it may still be of good quality gold. Don't throw it out!
How much does it weigh? A genuine example should weigh? It should weigh 7.99 grammes. Check for ring tone against a genuine sovereign. That will prove if it has a tungsten core or not.

The big tells are in the lack of neck on St George, the horse's head and feet are wonky. On the obverse, the lettering is wrong.
Unfortunately, it is a relatively good and convincing fake because the coin tends to dazzle one with it's luster.
The same seller has a 1910 that is also a fake.

It could be a middle-eastern fake, which would mean it's still good gold. As has been suggested - be sure to weigh it. It's certainly a fake but there is a (very) small chance it's at least gold.

Plenty of fake Sovereigns out there now fraudsters have a market place. As I posted previously(may have been on the Oz Coin Forum) a Aust. Squash Player brought back a shoe box full of fake Oz, Sovereigns from a Tournament in Egypt(IIRC) in the 1960's,they're all out there somewhere so extreme buyer beware.
