I usually just remove anything prior to 1960, especially the War Nickels for their 35% silver, but are there any easy to spot error nickels you guys are finding. Pictures are really appreciated.
I wish to be helpful ... but your topic and inquiry is confusing.
You are asking about 'errors' ... there are no easy to find errors. Errors are the result of one of a kind mistakes at the mint whereby a otherwise normal coin was mis-struck in some way and released to the public.
Varieties on the other hand are coins where the 'difference' was intentionally created into the dies used to strike the coins ... albeit not intended to be different.
You wrote about keeping the war silver coins ... so maybe you want to know about key date nickels?
You can find that information in any standard reference on-line and hard copy ... I suggest the Red Book for folks growing their legs in the hobby.
Hopeful the comments above make sense to you ... in that case be a bit more specific and let us know what you are asking about.
