Thought some of you would find this interesting. Was browsing the registry sets and I found a listing of COMPLETE Canada S$5 Privy Maples in high grade. This is the only complete set I have ever seen, as it includes the 2014 Double Privy, the 2015 Heart Privy and a 2005 Liberation Privy in SP70 'the so-called Beatrix example'

Wish there were more pics! Enjoy!

I'm inclined to believe that the set listed within the NGC Registry is not the only complete set of these privy-marked SMLs.

Why?

a) Most collectors do not enter their collections into the PCGS/NGC registries (or even have them graded).

b) There are hundreds of collectors pursuing sets of these privy-marked coins.

c) There are hundreds of graded examples of each of the coins (even the lower mintage ones) - nice examples of the coins are available in the market.

d) There is no truly rare coin in the series (when assessed against the number of collectors pursuing complete sets), so no coin will be priced out of reach for dedicated collectors and thus be an insurmountable obstacle to completion.

Just my thoughts, your mileage may vary.

Commems, that is why I referred to it as 'graded'. S/he has a lot of pop=1 or pop = 2 to 5 coins, so I'd imagine that may be one of the top sets out there. I'm sure there are a lot of others who collect privy maples who don't have registry sets (myself included).
It is something to aspire to though. Any of these coins pre-2007 are so milky and dinged up, that it would be hard to find any grading better than SP65. These kind of sets always amaze me, because I know that finding the right coins takes up a lot of time and money.

The other problems with these maple leaf privy marks is if you order 5000 or 10000 coins can't remember the RCM's minimum order you can have your own privy mark. You are chasing an endless path along with the milk issue, there is an obvious easy solution of the milk issue their NCLT coins rarely suffers from this issue, what are they using two different rinse agent, Palmolive versus Dove!
