I was fine-cleaning some grease off a cent the other day and there it was...the same red dot, buried under the grease, that we previously saw on that gold piece.
I thought I recalled everybody saying the red spot on that gold piece was some sort of chemical reaction with gold...if it's really the same, then I guess it's not unique to the metal gold.
