Kamnaskires Pillar of the Community United States 7066 Posts	Posted 12/30/2015 2:23 pm I would not claim to know much about these issues, but I believe the visible "DVL" in the legend, to the left of the Doge, is from "DANDVLO." This suggests that it was issued under one of the Dandolo's: Giovanni, Francesco, or Andrea. So it is quite probably from the late 13th through mid 14 centuries. Hopefully someone will pin it down further than I'm able to. Report this Post to the Staff
