An 1857 Flying Eagle cent. It hasn't arrived yet. I'm currently gunning for a Pilgrim Half Dollar now though.

i bought some common mercs from my LCS for $6 canadian around 3:00 yesterday as my last buy of 2015. I simply did it to be my LCS's last costumer of 2015.
Feel free to call me Will.

I'm apparently a valued repeat customer in one particular coin store at Hobby City, so when I reached them again this December they let me buy coins from their "low-grade unidentified junk" bin for a ruble each (with the still-dropping value of the ruble, that meant that the thirty-odd coins I got cost me a total of about 50 cents).
A lot of them were lowball-looking Victorian pennies from the 1860s (and a few from later), but the rest have quite a bit of variety. I think I've identified most of these coins, but there's one weird token that's probably going to be posted in the Identification section soon, and one coin that might be silver (though it's probably a contemporary counterfeit) which is going to be posted in the United Kingdom section as soon as I get a half-decent photo (I lost access to my main camera a few days before that purchase, and hadn't regained it so far).

oih82w8, that's a great coin and a cool virtual way to display them. I had not seen the virtual album, and kind of wish I still had not seen it... because now I might "need" to start some registry sets. :)

Purchased these on ebay on Dec.10th from a B&M Coin Store with 50 years experience, and they lacked the knowledge that both notes are printed on Natick Test Paper...

Mine was 1949 Mexican Onza. This coin is the very first 1oz world silver bullion issued just as bullion, although some were circulated because of the 1 peso face value. It is generally considered the "unofficial" first coin in the Libertad series.
