Indonesia 42 1952 5 Rupiah A rather beat up example from Indonesia. The condition is actually not that bad considering, that banknotes are handled by many people during its lifetime and that in tropical countries the heat and humidity is not very suitable for something made of paper. I like the note!

Czechoslovakia 92a 1970 20 Korun In keeping with the Easter weekend a religious note from Czechoslovakia. First I wonder why the horse is so small compared to the people around it. Most horses are taller than people :) But I understand that proportionality was not relevant in Middle Age texts. The picture is from the Jena Codex. I am sure that this note fits the Women on Banknotes because military campaigns, especially religious campaigns, were made up of non-professional soldiers and usually were accompanied by their families. Thus I believe that the person highlighted is a woman. If anyone can prove otherwise I am happy to hear your argument.

Currently very inexpensive rather large format, later edition P-182j $10 from Hong Kong (1983). Earlier versions can get pricey:

Thanks 'jbuck.' Actually more attractive in hand then the scan (probably due to the bright colours & large format- for a Ten) Anyway, here's another 'el-cheapo' P-195b from Paraguay featuring an attractive lady from that country:

Very nice, @ShareBear. Those Trinidad notes are good looking. Nice close-ups of the feminine vignettes too.
