I read that this coin has an abraded die variety of the bust of Washington from the new Cherrypicker's book. Does anyone know what to look for or have a picture of the variety? I checked variety vista and couldn't find it. Thank you for your help.

Thank you for the link. It is listed in the new book though. Hmm... wonder if it is brand new?

Well then you have me very confused. For one an abraded die is NOT a variety. In fact the 1969-D Lincoln Cent w/o the FG on the reverse has been determined to be from die abraision or grease or a combo of both, and has been de-listed from the CPG. So why would they add a new coin with the same cause?
