There was a special toonie in 1999, showing an Inuit drumming. Its the Nunavut twoonie. This is a great question. I too would like this info. I know there is a few special mint mark coins.
The Mint did not strike Caribou circulation Quarters in 92,97,98,99 or 2000. There were also no Loonies struck for circulation from 1997-2001. No circulated Polar Bear Toonies were struck in 1999, 2000 and the 2006 Double Date. These are all available in collector sets.
I mean that they were not meant for general circulation and were minted in various finishes for collector sets only. If you are only collecting business strikes, you can exclude the years mentioned.
