Ya..was hoping for a 63 on the 1889..few distracting abrasions, I guess. Very happy with it, nevertheless

I've seen worse in MS63 holders.(just Morgans in general, not 89-CC's) I was going to suggest CAC but I would be nervous as all you know what every time that coin left my possession.

That 1889-CC wholesales at $30k in 62PL. A 63PL bumps wholesale to $40k! Might be worth another shot at PCGS or a CAC sticker anyway.

Have you got these coins insured yet? I sure as heck would not leave these around the house. You have a fantastic collection. It should be in bank safe deposit box. Normal people may spend 30 grand on a car or down payment for a house, but not a coin. You are lucky to have these rare objects.

I wish I could have a fantastical goal, and within a month achieve that goal. I figured your endeavour would take a lifetime, not a month.

Very nice! Keep us updated!

agree.this goal is a bit atypical in the sense that I inherited a lot of these coins to start with. Am currently pursuing a lifelong goal of collecting CC Gold ;-) That will take a lifetime now!

That 89CC is spectacular, I'm assuming there's not many that would have better eye appeal. Although I'm not sure of the numbers from PCGS regarding the 89CC, your's is a world class coin in my book.
