inherited a bunch of coins that spurred me on to do start with CC Morgans. First lot from re-graded coins by PCGS from other TPGs. Let's see how far I get!

The 79, 89, 93 will cost about 35K in MS and it is hard to find bargains on these key dates. Heritage is one the best places to buy high end coins. If you are going to spend 25K on a 89cc, you need to have an expert look at the coin in hand before making a purchase.

You might be able to get some of the GSA CC's in their boxes. The box and labels add to the value of the coins. Getting the more rare CC's you might want to settle for coins in VF condition if you just want to complete a set. I am not an investor, so I am not going to spend $35,000 to buy a few coins.

Thanks very much for your input. The other TPGs typically over-inflated the grades. Was good to see PCGS give MS-64s, though.

Phooey. There is minimal difference in grading between the big 3.

I think you mean the big two and a half.

ANACS coins generally do not trade at par with NGC and PCGS coins. Many auction houses, including Heritage, will not even accept them for auction. The standards ANACS has applied over the last 25 years are all over the map.

They charge less because you get less - a lot less.

The grades are visible. They are part of the code in the label just before the cart #
