Is there anything on the side of the medal?

I didn't think it would be a coin because it seems so ... for lack of a better term , modern..

It's certainly a medal or token. It may be one of those heads/tails flipping 'coins'- my uncle found one in a Coinstar reject tray with a similar design, but with a bit more detail, if you catch my drift.

looks like the guy is flipping a coin and I guess his side is tails... most likely a funny novelty item

The design of the medal looks strangely incomplete The milling on the edge makes me wonder if the diameter has been reduced via metal removal.

Maybe it was inside a bevel at some point?

This is a "spinner" coin. These are normally set in a bezel and when they are spun the images merge . A novelty item

Thanks for the info guys ... I can see it being some sort of spinner. That would explain the holes in the side ...
Now if we can figure out who made them and if there were sets .... Lol

Sorry to burst your bubble, but chances are it has no value.

Lol. Was never concerned about the value or " a value" .. Just solving the mystery , to me at least ...a few of you jumped on spinner and token right away .. :)

It's good that you're concerned more about just knowing what it is rather than what it's worth. I think nearly every experienced member here appreciates when newer members care about what they have.

If you do, you'll find that it's less innocent than it seems
