Picked this up over the Christmas holiday. What are your thoughts on a grade and I believe it to be an N16 (with doubled profile) can anyone concur? Thanks!

I like it But 1835 is very hard to attribute. I see a reverse die crack above OF which makes me think about N-16. I have the Wright book and am not seeing anything about obverse doubling with the N-16.

In the newcomb book it shows as N16 1/2. It has a special mention of the doubling. I was just hoping someone could confirm that. I should have said 16 1/2 instead of 16 but thought that might confuse some.

Yeah, it's an N-16. Easily determined by the specific die crack that your LC exhibits. F12 but I'd net it down in the VG range for the rough surfaces and the rim bump between "united" and "states". I'm editing this because of your above post which I just noticed after my 1st edit: Yes, it would be considered 16 1/2 because of the doubling, this does not really add any rarity to your LC. Doubled profiles are not uncommon.
