I'd have it at a solid VF-30. No higher. Just how?

I agree, this one is a VF-30 at best and no where near EF. Another one blown by PCGS.

And apparently by CAC as well. Once again buy the coin not the holder.
Grading standards from all the grading companies have been all over the place lately.

This is nowhere near an XF-40.

I have this one at a VF-25. Maybe they went easy on it because it is a better date.

They'll grade it whatever David Kahn tells them to grade it. Like David Lawrence, NFC, etc, the TPG's simply ask the large dealers: "What grade do you want?"

That is just wow.... Another reason to avoid the grading services.

ANACS is starting to look far better to me, their grading seems to be far more consistent.

Agree with everyone on this - overgraded. I never put much weight on CAC stickers, anyway.

The crazy part of this ,is, they are not consistent with their own photograde site !

I KNOW, RIGHT! The ANA grading standards guide book by Whitman is by FAR superior.

These grading practices makes it that much more difficult and confusing for a new collector such as myself.
