Recession: Affect On Coin Prices

First, let's clear one thing up. There is NO recession, at least not yet. We are in an economic slowdown, and MAY avoid recession if we can avoid a world crisis (i.e. Sept. 11).

Now if the slowdown / possible recession has a negative effect on coin values, I will see it as a buying opportunity, as I still have a long term collecting horizon. Remember, a booming coin market may feel good, but if you are able to buy in a bad coin market instead, your wallet will feel better.
