I recently acquired this 1882-O Morgan around AU-55. I cut it out of it's flip and I noticed that the rims are rainbow colored. Is this normal?

Toning is more normal than completely blast white.

A little bit of toning and color around the rim is not uncommon. We'd love to see images :) There's never been a coin dated '82 I didn't take a second look at!
