Are 6 Full Steps on 1969-S Jefferson nickel rare?

I was trying to put together a full step set and I found this in my collection.

Someone told me a 1969-S is extremely rare? Ans I should try to get it slabbed?

Is that true..

Any comments, suggestions or feedback welcome...

I think it has a heck of a shot. And I seem to vaugly remember the 69s having no fs pop coins. Could be a different late 60s or early 70s date though but 69s is ringing a bell

Here is a quote from coinfacts

Quote:
Full Step 1969-S Nickels are virtually non-existent due to poor striking characteristics.

It has Full Steps because it is a proof strike, not a usually mushy business strike.

If that were a business strike it would be exceedingly rare, as has been mentioned. But keep searching, you might be the one who finds the impossible!

Good-looking coin regardless! Hopefully that fingerprint on the reverse is on the holder...
