Has anyone heard of American Numismatic Institute as a grading service. Looking at a couple of coins being sold as ANI certified.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I haven't heard of them as a grading service, because they aren't, but I have heard of them as a basement slabber who throws pocket change into plastic. If it says MS66, you can assume EF45. Maybe. And probably cleaned. Remember, if this stuff was worthy of a PCGS or NGC slab, it would be in one, and selling for real money.
