picked this up today and completed my second set in the process (my first set was the two Newfoundland 25 cent coins that I got in a trade from our friend AgCoinAu)

a couple minor blemishes but overall I felt it was a nice looking coin.

also of note, it is about 20 degrees misaligned, was wondering if this was common?

Thanks for looking

Note: I have one also that is "misaligned", a die rotation.

To AgHoarder: I will let you know about the degree of the die rotation on my coin as soon as I can, sometime this week.

BTW, very nice pick up, the coin not the truck.

Very nice coin!

Any coin dated 1858 is always a good pick-up.

I would think EF40. Beautiful coin! I love dark toning with these older coins

Nice pick up, it looks EF-40 to me with the darkened obverse.

This is the rotated 1858 20 cent coin that I have. Yes, I would say it is about 20 degrees.

I'd say 45-50, well struck nice looking. My type of coin. I'd take this over a white one. Braid is very defined because of strike.

Maybe PCGS would even do 53 because of appeal.

Very, very nice, I like how it has what looks like a full cross at the top, One of those is on my list of things to get eventually.

This would likely be an easy AU50, a bit hard to tell with image being dark on some of the finer details. I can't tell if the hair at the back is worn or just a little off color. Great details on the wreath.
