wbarkley Valued Member United States 71 Posts	Posted 01/14/2016 01:00 am From your image it looks like the mint mark (if it has one) is centered under the 4, I've included a 1941-S and a 1941-D example for comparison. Each of their mint marks are situated between the 9 and the 4. This tells me that the mark on your 1941 is a result of a die crack or PMD that left some material in that location, and your coin has no mint mark. Interesting coin though! However it does appear to have a small Cud and a die crack at the top of the coin. I'd like to see what others think of it. Report this Post to the Staff

Between the 9 and 4 was common, but not always the case. I don't think what is on SF11Dude's 1941 is a mint mark. Report this Post to the Staff
