a strong VF example, could have enough detail for a VF 30 but it is IMO a details coin,the scratch on vicki is too deep and long to ignore.

The reverse appears to be Haxby J8, but from the photo provided,
I can not confirm the obverse. If the reverse is a 491, you have
a rather common variety.

I also concur with VF 20.

Thanks Doug, I am starting to learn the 1859 classification system. For the OBV, do you need a better picture of a certain portion?

Open the Reverse J8. Click on the Obverse thread associated
with J8. Compare your obverse to the photos provided. One
marker I remember (without returning to the thread) concerns
the cloven left-end of the base of the E in DEI. (On your photo
this area had too much crud to confirm.) Verify the other markers.
If congruent, Obverse 491, Reverse J8.

A typo in my previous thread. Change Reverse to Obverse 491. Sorry.
