It is frustrating to me and I'm sure a lot of other guys and gals when we scroll down the list of '' Recent Forum Topics ''on the left side of page and come across a post of just a coin. we click on that ,only to find it's a Canadian coin post.
Now, I have nothing against Canadian coins ,but it's not what us die hard American collectors want to read about.
my suggestion is simple; at the end of their post title under ''Recent Forum Topics'' MODS will need to install a small green maple leaf to identify that it's a Canadian issue.
If a U.S. collector wants to view it , No problem.
If a Canadian collector wants to ask a question ,etc. on U.S. coins they must fully note that on their title.
please try to understand I'm not against Canadian coins ,I actually have a bunch in my collection. If I have offended anyone in this post I am truly sorry. any backers would be welcomed.

I have this forum listed on my computer's 'Favorites' list as "Canadian Coin Forum". What does that tell you how I feel about it?

Oh, and I'm from the USA.

With that way of thinking then every different nationality on here should have the flag of their country on their posts. Our maple leaf is Red by the way.

I can understand the desire to want an identifier. I use the new and recent topics sections on the home page and just clicked on one titled "50c coins over the years," wondering if it was US or Canadian (I collect both) and it turned out to be Australian! (I collect world too.) I have no idea if flag or other icons are feasible though.

I will think about it, but the best way to read the forum is the active topics page, the New Posts link above.

It will show all the topics with new posts since your last visit organized by Category/Forum. I go there first then hold down the control key and click on all the topics I want to read which opens them in a new tab/window depending on your browser settings. Then I work through them, closing them as I read them, until I'm back to the active topics page. Then I click the "Mark all Topics as Read" link top left. If any new posts occurred while I was reading I will then see those.

Works like a charm and I can't believe it's not used more.
