How fast do you guys think gold will reach its real intrinsic value when this fiat currency inflates?"

I think you have this one in the wrong forum.
Answer to your question, hard to say. Until something is done about the large banks using naked shorts to manipulate the gold and silver market, a big rise won't happen unless they allow it.

I think your question is worded backwards. How about this: "How fast do you guys think gold will reach its real intrinsic value when this fiat currency inflates?"

And it is nearly impossible to establish an intrinsic value for gold when is has so few real world uses. Now to answer your question, inflation happens when too much money chases too few goods/services and we're nowhere near that point as witnessed by the low inflation experienced over the last few years. I do think gold will reach $2000 by 2020 but that won't have much to do with inflation in the USD.

@BH1964 thank you I just changed the topic-- The question was worded backwards..

I think with the way our government is printing out money it's only a matter of time until they get to a road of no return. Those debts are me out!
