2012 Lincoln Cent DDO Class 9For 2016 my goal is to get better at finding and attributing the more modern shield DDO and DDR. They have always been hard for me so I skip them. 2012P-1DO-006nice little 2012-p with just a little bit of extra thickness, some distortion and minor notching on the ERTY of LIBERTY with a little bit of trail off the Y, a stain makes it tricky to see Any comments, feedback or suggestions welcome

I have seen so much doubling on pennies, and so little value-add to these, I don't even pay attention anymore.

Its not for value on these guys its more of to complete my impossible goal of a 1909-2015 rpm/ddr/ddo albums I got a few wheat and memorial dates complete but huge gap starting 2010 till present
plus if I can find these it will make brick searching more fun as I used to skip most moderns in a brick that is 70% modern

Seems like most of the boxes recently have been full of shields. I guess it's time to adapt. All the good copper has been picked and the rest is zinc rot.

Chronoswiss, I grabbed your 2015/006 off ebay and a few other random examples for reference for exactly that reasoning. plus if you don't pull the new ones and save them they will self explode

Here is a side by side of a normal coin and a DDO. You might take an image of your coin and see how it compares to the normal coin posted on the top?

OcalaFlorrida, very nice find and congratulations! Fin, I am not saying that yours isn't a Doubled Die, but we'll need much better pictures of your coin, in order to tell for sure. Have you looked for USB microscopes on ebay? They will work great for your coins and computer.
Errers and Varietys.
