I have two catalogues of coins for sale from TCNC that compare Trend prices vs their sale price but I cant find most of what they say are a Trend price in the latest Trend paper I have, like a MS 65 1892 25 cent they say in Trends is $13,000 but there is no MS 65 in the Trends I have same as a lot of other coins they compare just wondering if there is another Trends I'm not aware of

They are likely extrapolating the prices based on lower condition trends

Is it ICCS graded or another company?

Again .. double and triple verify what TCNC says about anything. They are well known for fudging facts.

To properly figure out values on " Stratosphere" coins tread lightly. Research is imperative .You must check auction results of SOLD coins , ebay SOLD, and other resources. Trends and Charlton are just a starting point. Also you must have access to the appropriate Population reports for the coin in question , ie ICCS , NGC, PCGS. Finally it is important to have first hand knowledge of the high end of the market. If in doubt about a purchase seek advice from a trusted third party.

Thanks for advice.
I'm not interested in buying anything. I wonder if Trends has anything to say about using them as a resource when in fact they don't even have a listed price for most of the items I see in the catalogues I got? [not right as far as I'm concerned ]

I believe Trends is the term used for Coin World pricing. You might want to look online at Numismedia. And I believe PCGS has its own pricing site. All of those are essentially retail pricing.
The greysheet (CDN) is generally considered wholesale pricing.
But if you want real-world pricing look at auction results. That will show you what "people in the know" are paying for coins. Check out the Heritage site and browse their past auction results.

The Empire auction of 1921 5 cents was way of trends recently as an example of a upper value coin tanking.

It would seem the usage of the word "trends" can be deceptive considering the recognized Trends cannot file copywrite on the use of a common noun. There's the possibility TCNC chooses to refer to Trends supported only by inhouse calculations and the dictionary definition --- an average price pointing in a general direction supported by data collected over period of time.

Quote: The Empire auction of 1921 5 cents was way of trends recently as an example of a upper value coin tanking. ..and maybe not......Most of those amazing coins were in the old embossed ICCS certs, ... and they will certainly be heading south for proper PCGS certification, and possibly be coming back as the "best of the best". ..Just a hunch on my part..... How say the experts here..?

This 21 5 cents was in an old PCGS ms 66 if memory was correct but many the other was in ICCS flips.
