Can someone give me a grade and value on this coin?

Grade: AU, thereabouts

You don't see these often here. The 2 Öre coin of this size is much more common with the two previous kings. That being, Öre coins with king Carl XV were minted untill 1872, the same year king Oscar II ascended the throne. The following year, 1873, a currency reform was put in place and smaller 2 Öre coins started production in 1874. Your coin had little time in circulation, which would mean it was rare then. It's a one-year type coin.
Looking at ended online auctions, the selling prices vary from around 14 SEK for lower grade or damaged pieces all the way up to 115 SEK for an XF piece. For Swedish selling prices, expect maybe 100 SEK = US$11.60. American prices would be considerably less though I assume.

Nearly Very Fine (British grading).
Could do with some VerdiCare treatment.

Thanks for the write-up X2an!

I was looking at the NGC price guide earlier today and it said that this coin was worth $17.50 USD in VF. Is that an accurate price for this coin?

$17.50 feels inflated. I could imagine seeing those prices in coin shops here for such a coin but that doesn't feel like actual selling prices.

Just saw this one, similar to your coin in condition, due to sell in 24 hours at the time of writing. Fairly bad pics and new seller could adjust the selling price downwards. Priced in SEK.

Some rim dings, mark above eye, wear to beard and hair. I like the die crack through the ear. Overall I would give it a grade of VF-30.
