Hi everyone! Since I made a lot of progress on my 7070 last year, I figured that I should make a thread to track my progress on obtaining the remaining coins that I need. I have actively been pursuing this set since I first started collecting, which was about 4 years ago. Here it goes... Page 1 Page 1 has been interesting because it contains some of my oldest US coins. These early coppers are really tough to find in problem-free grades that are affordable. I am missing only 1 coin on this page. Page 2 I am really proud of page 2 because it is the only complete page in my type set. I had a lot of fun finding coins in this page because many have attractive designs that don't cost a lot of money. Page 3 Page 3 is probably my favorite page in the whole album. I love the larger silver coins even though they can get really pricey, really quickly. This page is missing 4 coins. Page 4 It is going to take me a VERY long time to finish page 4. This is where most of my money will go, even though I hit a big milestone last year when I purchased a problem-free Trade dollar for this page. I still need 2 coins for this page. Well, that's what my 7070 looks like right now. I will update this thread when I get another coin (it might be a while). I also have pictures of each individual coin which I will be more than happy to share. Before anyone asks, I am NOT going to do a gold page. Edited by CoinCollector2012 01/17/2016 9:02 pm

Nice job - always good to see a 7070 take shape! That album's been around for awhile - I was wondering where the spot for the Ike dollar went before I realized the album pre-dated it.

Very good progress! I need to make a thread about my few purchases too! I added a gold page just because I bought it and a Mexico type gold page for $8. Probably won't ever get it finished though!

I forgot to mention that I have a very old 7070 album. It is copyrighted 1965 and I got it for only $20.

Good job getting to this point. It always feels good to fill a 7070 hole. I got my album 30 years ago (it has the old page 5 and no gold page). Anyway, I made some good progress last year. I'm down to only one open hole (the Seated Liberty dollar 1866-1873). But, you're never really done. I have a lot of lower grade coins, so plenty of possible future upgrades.

Tough Set .... Nice Job ..... The Early Coppers as you say are expensive if problem free - a lot of the early dates has ED .... I I also found the Trade dollar another challenge to find without Chop Marks ..... Nice vintage album, as well!

A 7070 is what I would consider a life long achievement. Don't rush too quickly to get it done or you're going to go back and upgrade pieces forever. Congrats on the problem free Trade dollar, that is one of the toughest to get. Keep up the good work!
