Liberty nickels are AWESOME, but incredibly hard to grade! I'd put this one in at a  worthy AU-58. Awesome coin!

Liberty head nickel plancents sometimes have larger planchents than normal (but still legal), so to prevent any larger planchents than the gap between the dies the dies were widened so that thicker planchets would pass through. This results in the fact that coins with thicker plancents are better struck and coins with thinner than normal planchets will be weakly struck (mostly in the center of the coin). This coin passes as a prime example of a AU-58 coin with central striking weakness.
